1. Clinical Research Coordinator

Who: The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) - a medically trained professional.

What: Facilitating all trial-related activities in the clinical site, such as patient visits and lab work. Comprehensively managing the study on site to ensure successful execution.

Where: Work at a private clinic, research office or a Hospital.

2. Clinical Trial Associate

Who: The Clinical Trial Associate (CTA) - acts as a liaison between clinical sites and pharmaceutical companies.

What: Responsible for managing research-related documents in accordance with FDA regulations. Ensuring timely and accurate uploading of clinical trial documentation into the eTMF. Adding and updating key study information into the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) and maintaining various logs of study-related documentation.

3. TMF Specialist

Who: A TMF (Trial Master File) specialist - responsible for maintaining and organizing all essential documents related to clinical trials conducted by pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device companies.

What: Their duties include ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing document version control, facilitating inspections and audits, and supporting the clinical trial team with document management processes. TMF specialists play a crucial role in ensuring that trial documentation is accurate, complete, and readily accessible for regulatory submissions and internal reviews.

Frequently Asks Questions

Ideally, you need a bachelor’s degree or some experience in healthcare like being a medical assistant, pharmacy technician, nurse, or medical scribe.

It depends on your level of experience and interests.
CRC training is for people who like working directly with patients in clinics or hospitals.
CTA training is more about handling documents, offering better opportunities for remote work.
TMF training involves working with systems and analyzing reports, mostly done remotely.

The training takes around 2 months; in addition the application process takes 3 weeks. So, within 85 days, you can start applying for jobs.

 No one can guarantee a job, but we promise to support you until you find one. We’ll be there as your accountability coach even after you get a job. You can connect with our students through LinkedIn.

It’s a mix of group and one-on-one sessions. We have live sessions with instructors via Zoom and provide industry-related assignments and observational sessions.

The salary depends on your experience and whether you work with a sponsor, CRO, or educational institute. On average, entry-level roles pay around $70,000 per year. Most Clinfast students receive promotions and pay increases after a year, either within the company or by moving to another.

Many entry-level roles now require some work experience or relevant clinical research training. Our courses help bridge this gap.

Each session is about 2 hours long, and we meet weekly.
